BYD Dolphin EV Makes a Sprinkle: Trademarked in India

In an energising development for electric vehicle enthusiasts, BYD has trademarked "Dolphin EV" in India. This move suggests that BYD, a prominent player in the electric vehicle market, is adapting to introduce its Dolphin EV model to Indian buyers. The choice of the name "Dolphin" may evoke thoughts of agility, intelligence, and perhaps a smooth design. Whereas specific points of interest about the Dolphin EV are yet to be revealed, the trademarking recommends that BYD is making noteworthy advances in its plans for the Indian showcase. The electric vehicle comes with a 60.4kWh battery pack offering a maximum range of 427 km. It powers an electric engine that produces 201Bhp and 290 Nm. The Dolphin can accelerate from 0-100k/h in 7 seconds and contains a 160k/h. This car is merely available with a smaller 44.9 kWh unit that has a range of 340km.  Electric vehicles continue to gain notoriety globally, driven by environmental concerns and technological advancements.
