The 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that powers the X440 is capable of producing 38Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm and 27hp at 6,000 rpm. This powerful engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. A steel trellis frame with a 43mm USD fork and double shock absorber arrangement supports this powerplant. A substantial 320mm front rotor handles braking duties, and dual-channel ABS is standard. 

The HD X440 tops the scales at 190.5kg with its 13.5-liter fuel tank completely brimmed, and the seat height is a very sensible 805mm. With 170mm of ground clearance, the bike has plenty of traction, and its new MRF Zapper Hyke tyres have sizes of 100/90-18 for the front and 140/70-17 for the back. 

Features and variations of the Harley-Davidson X440

While the mid-range Vivid variation of the X440 has alloy wheels and dual-tone paint options, the base Denim variant only has wire-spoke rims and little badging. The S variant's highest level of specification includes diamond-cut alloy wheels, machined engine cooling fins, 3D badging, and a colour TFT dash with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for navigation and notification alerts. 

Available in Mustard Yellow, the Denim model is simply a yellow tank on a black bike. The top-spec S variant is only offered in the ominous Matte Black colouring, while the Vivid variant comes in either Metallic Thick Red or Metallic Dark Silver. A USB charging port is included as standard on all models.
