It is said that you hear Harley before you see it and X440 is here to prove it true again with its new 440cc, 2-valve, air-oil-cooled single pot motor. It produces 28PS at 6000rpm and 38Nm at 4000rpm. In fact, the company claims 90 percent of the torque comes in at as low as 2000rpm. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slip and assist clutch.

Harley Davidson claims that 90% of the torque is available from 2,000 rpm. There's a sufficient pull even on higher gears when riding at lower speeds, with the engine doing its best to keep you moving.

Braking is managed by a 320mm disc with axially-mounted ByBre callipers at the front and 240mm disc at the back. Dual channel ABS is offered as standard. It weighs 190.5kg kerb, has a seat height of 805mm and a decent 170mm of ground clearance.

·       Denim Variant
