Royal Enfield Hunter 350 performance

Does the “DUG-DUG” catch your attention too? When Royal Enfield passes by 99% heads turn to have a look at the beauty. Royal Enfield has been crafting such beauties since 1901. The iconic and vintage look of Royal Enfield bikes appeals to riders who appreciate the nostalgia and elegance associated with these motorcycles. People who have own Royal Enfield must have dreamt about the bikes getting spottier and more engaging. Those wishes have finally come true, Royal Enfield has launched the all-new Royal Enfield Hunter 350.

Royal Enfield claims this bike to be most engaging bike of all time. The look differs from signature look but somehow still screams to be a Royal Enfield bike. It’s got the classic British roadster design and is available in many colour schemes, it’s powered by RE’s smooth and torquey 350cc J-series engine and it has a very attractive starting price of Rs 1.50 lakh.

Royal Enfield powers its Hunter 350 with an air- and oil-cooled thumper. It rocks a long-stroke layout with a 75 mm bore and 85.8 mm stroke for a total displacement of 349 cc. The Hunter 350 uses the same J-Series engine we have all come to love over the last couple of years. The engine is in identical state of tune, making the same 20.2bhp at 6100rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4000rpm, mated to the same slick shifting five-speed gearbox, supported by identical feeling clutch. Although, to lend the Hunter 350 an identity of its own, one that goes with the handling chops, Royal Enfield has given this engine a sharper throttle map. A change that’s evident from the get-go. The throttle feels sharp and the Hunter 350 offers quicker acceleration off the line.
