Things You Need To Know About The 2024 Audi e-tron GT

The Audi e-tron GT has received a global update for its entire lineup, featuring fine design adjustments, more luxurious interiors, and comprehensive mechanical improvements. Check out these five key points explaining the updated lineup of Audi’s flagship EV -

● Larger Battery and Advanced Performance

The 2024 Audi e-tron range now features a 105 kWh battery pack instead of 83.7 kWh. This pack powers two motors, one available on each axle, due to which, the new entry-level S e-tron GT generates 679 PS instead of the previous 476 PS, while the RS e-tron delivers 856 PS instead of 598 PS. The new RS e-tron performance, which comes with a reprogrammed pulse inverter on the front axle, makes it Audi’s most powerful production car to date by producing 925 PS. It also includes a new standard boost function which allows the RS models to deliver a 95 PS increase in power for ten seconds while driving.

● Extended Range and Charging Capability

The 2024 Audi e-tron affirms a WLTP range of up to 609 km instead of 500 km previously. Audi has also boosted the maximum charging speed by 50 kW to reach 320 kW, which leads to charging from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes at super-fast charging stations, with the ability to add up to 280 km of range in just 10 minutes. The GT range of the Audi e-tron also supports a range of 22 kW AC charging. For more details, visit Wheelsbingo.

● Stylish Exterior and Upgraded Hardware

The visual updates, though subtle, effectively distinguish the e-tron GT from its predecessors. The S e-Tron GT gets a touch of elegance with silver triangular inserts in the front air dam. Meanwhile, the RS models adopt a more aggressive stance with bold L-shaped inserts, and the Performance model offers an optional “camouflage” carbon fiber package.

Both variants of RS feature a unique embossed hexagonal front grille and a redesigned rear diffuser. Audi has also broadened its customization choices, introducing several new wheel designs ranging from 20 to 21 inches and offering nine paint color options. With new air suspension systems and optional fully active dampers, the handling and dynamics of the vehicle have been improved. The RS models come with standard advanced air suspension and an optional active suspension system.

● Elegant Interiors & Updated Features

The interiors have been upgraded to feature Dinamica, a sustainable material with a suede-like texture, and Cascade fabrics, completely eliminating the use of leather. The seats, steering wheel, entry sills, etc. have all been redesigned entirely. The sportier steering wheel now has a square shape with flat top and bottom sections, renovated buttons, and an illuminated logo. The paddle lights have also been through changes in design. The standard sport seats now offer 14-way adjustments and an optional massage function, while the performance trim possesses 18-way adjustable seats for added comfort and customization.

As far as features are concerned, the fully digital driver’s display now includes new battery temperature information and a real-time display of the maximum charging power. The RS e-tron GT’s display includes RS-specific content. The RS e-tron Performance offers an optional white display and speedometer, paying homage to the 1994 Audi RS 2 Avant. The panoramic sunroofs are now electro-chromatic, which allows them to turn opaque at the touch of a button, however, this advanced sunroof is available as an optional extra.
