In an effort to stay current and draw in more customers, automakers are expanding their lineup to include limited-edition vehicles in anticipation of the upcoming holiday season. BMW India has introduced a unique X7 Signature Edition in India, priced at Rs 1.33 crore (ex-showroom), in keeping with the current trend. The Signature Edition, which is based on the xDive40i M Sport grade, adds unique exterior and interior modifications to the full-size Bavarian SUV, making it more opulent and rare because it will only be made in a restricted quantity.

Exterior:

The Swarovski embellishments added to the BMW "Crystal" headlights are the first obvious alteration. The side door sills and grille have chrome finishes, while the roof rails are finished in aluminum. Two premium exterior paint treatments, Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey, are available.

Interior:

Inside are unique cushions covered in Alcantara, a leather-wrapped console, and crystal doorknobs. Although the remainder of the cabin remains mostly unaltered, the BMW flagship SUV does come equipped with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof with 15,000 separate light spots, and 14 different colors of ambient lighting.

Engine And Specification:

The 3.0-liter straight-six gasoline engine, which produces 380 horsepower and 520 Nm in the xDrive40i specification, is still the powertrain option for the Signature Edition. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission and can reach 100 mph from a stop in 5.8 seconds. A 48-volt mild hybrid assist is also included.

Although the X7 Signature Edition is only available in a restricted quantity, BMW has not disclosed how many would be made in the Chennai facility. Customers may only purchase the Signature Edition directly from the BMW Online Shop, where it is priced at Rs 3 lakh more than the model it is based on.
