The Two-Wheeler Launches Upcoming In 2024

Many two-wheeler manufacturers have released new models or modified their current models in anticipation of the approaching holiday season, hoping to capitalise on the opportunity. There are just a few days left, and some brands have scheduled further launches for September 2024.

The list is as follows:

New Jawa 42

On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Jawa-Yezdi Motorcycles is scheduled to introduce a new version of its popular Jawa 42 FJ model. A few weeks ago, Jawa 42 underwent an update, introducing what they refer to as the revised 294 cc “J-Panther” engine. Regarding the most recent Jawa 42, we think it will come with an upgraded 334 cc engine—possibly the same one as the Jawa 350—and both the 293 cc and 334 cc engine versions will be available in the Jawa 42 lineup.

The upgraded 334 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from the Jawa 350 will probably be installed in the new Jawa 42 model. Presently, the Yezdi Adventure from the firm also utilises the same engine, albeit with a modified configuration. It is unclear if the Jawa 42's engine will be tuned differently from the Jawa 350 or the Yezdi 350 Adventure, or if it will have its distinct tune.

Hero Destini 125

The Hero Desitini 125 is the brand's flagship scooter and has been available for around half a decade. The scooter hasn't gotten any noteworthy changes during this time, making potential purchasers from this market group less interested in purchasing the scooter. That will probably all change, though, since Hero has confirmed that a completely revised version of the Destini 125 is scheduled for release with a teaser posted on social media.

Regarding the drivetrain, the Destini 125 is most likely going to be equipped with the same 125 cc single-cylinder engine, which is rated to provide 10.4 Nm and 9 horsepower when linked to a CVT. To increase the motor's efficiency, Hero may make a few adjustments, such as changing the engine map and refining the current design.

BMW F 900 GS

Before the anticipated introduction later this month, BMW Motorrad India is now accepting reservations for the brand-new F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure. For the Indian market, both ADVs will be supplied as fully built-up units (CBUs). It would be over a year after the motorcycles' September 2023 global debut before the prices for India are revealed. Launched in India, the F 900 GS will take the position of the F 850 GS, which is already available for purchase.

A 6.5-inch TFT display, keyless ignition, heated grips, and additional rider aids like riding modes, traction control, and switchable ABS are among the features offered by the motorcycles.

Bajaj Ethanol Bike

An ethanol-powered three-wheeler and a motorcycle that runs on ethanol are scheduled to be unveiled in September 2024 by Bajaj Auto. Rajiv Bajaj, MD of Bajaj Auto Ltd., stated in a television channel interview that the company will introduce the ethanol motorbike and three-wheeler within this fiscal year. The Bajaj Freedom 125, the world's first motorbike powered by compressed natural gas, was introduced by Bajaj in July of this year.

There is currently no information available about the new Bajaj motorcycle that runs on ethanol. However, there are two assumptions. Firstly, Bajaj may choose to stick with an existing gasoline-powered model that is compliant with ethanol fuel. The other possibility is that Bajaj will choose an entirely new model, similar to the CNG-powered Freedom 125.

When the bike is launched in September 2024, more information will become available.

Several ethanol-powered two-wheelers were on display at the most recent Bharat Mobility Show. One such vehicle was the Honda CB300F Flex Tech, which operates on E20-E85 fuels and is manufactured by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India.

Conclusion

Therefore, automobile enthusiasts must be ready to see the September rolling with the Hero Destini 125 undergoing a significant makeover, the BMW F 900 GS is available for reservations and Bajaj is set to unveil its inaugural biofuel motorcycle. What are your views on it?
